Eggs + egg whites or chicken are even better.

Before: fuel. caffeine and simple carbs. something easy on your stomach. You don’t need protein before.
After: protein, some carbs, and maybe creatine if you’re really chasing gains.

Pre workout meal: easily digestible protein like whey powder, chicken breast, or lean beef. White rice or easily digestible carbs, small portion of non-gas veggies, keep fats to a small amount.
Post workout: fast digesting protein and carb sources, very minimal fats. Tastiest combo I’ve had is chocolate protein powder shaken up over cocoa pebbles cereal. Or I’ll go full bro and slam the chicken breast, white rice, hot sauce and mustard.
