Rental properties
Stock market
My two cents - it depends! Either way you need to do your research and thoroughly prepare. The stock market seems to be good for long-term so you need to be patient. Rental properties seem to have faster return, but arguably more work up-front to ensure a good purchase.
I’m starting with the stock market because I don’t have much to be able to afford a down payment, and as I do that I’m learning more about real estate and how best to go about the whole process (which is a lot more complicated than investing in the stock market).
