LinkedIn’s top 50 companies to work for: Deloitte at 5, PwC at 30, EY at 33, KPMG not listed. There shouldn’t be any big4 on the list w/ our miserable & fabricated work life balance 😂😭

You had time to post this! Is that not sufficient time away from work? You are so high maintenance OP!

I like griping as much as the next person, but by the time u make senior 3 or manager, I gotta admit this job is cushy AF. -25 days vacation, 10 days family care -remote work flexibility (I wfh 1-2 days per week) -benefits, 401k, $500 fitness reimbursement -expensive lunches -fancy happy hours every month or two -salary ranges $100-200k+. -6 months maternity leave Of course there’s better out there, but don’t take where you’re already at for granted

EY sort of gives $500 gym reimbursement. EY will pay 75% of gym costs and some other fitness related costs up to $500.

All Big 4’s are basically the same circus just with different clowns. They should all be grouped together, removed from the list and put in their own category of miserable jobs. Although I am curious as to why Deloitte is so high, not just relative to PwC, but in general.

It's mostly based on who spends the most money on this kind of marketing

When you click 8 hours of sleep every day in the well being rewards “yes-o-meter” to be able to pocket those $10, your company meanwhile runs the reports that go to Linked In and Forbes showing how well rested PwC workers are even during the busy season. Don’t be naive people.

Let me know when you find a moderately accessible career with a defined path towards 1m+ comp where you’re getting paid ok money in your twenties only working 40 hours a week.

Recently left for industry and looking back, outside of the hours (which TK be fair is a major exclusion), it was a great company to work for. It’s awesome working with bright people that are almost all the same age as you. When you leave for industry and have to sit next to Susan, the AP clerk, who peaked in junior high, you realize how great it was to work with people your age

Honest question - how are these rankings determined? I’m always surprised when the big 4 firms end up on these lists, but it could be because I don’t know the criteria and who’s voting.

Same as all rankings. Back channel payments for advertisement

I am in analytics, so I had to read the fine print. Two of the factors I saw were: 1 - Employee retention, and 2 - Level of ‘engagement’ by employees of the firm or with posts related to the firm on LinkedIn. So the results could be biased if one of the firms puts more effort into LinkedIn activity than via other platforms or media outlets. Not exactly random sampling.

EY5 - what are the other factors and does it say if they are equally weighted?

Don’t try to analyze it like a report by Robert Mueller. Just feel happy you work in a company that’s ranked high in the list of best employers. Linked In is not a small fly who will perform studies without reasonable criteria.

excellent point; it may not be the best job out there but it is pretty solid at the end of the day

At other companies accounting is a back office function. In Big 4, client service is at the front line.
