Back in the day, I did my own PR, sales & marketing for whatever business idea I was running with at the time. What’s a good remote sales opportunity I can do anywhere in the world that won’t be painful or too high touch? Where I can use my social & business skills (markets, law, cloud, publishing, media, logistics, algos, social media, books, ebooks, design, podcasting, marketing, press release writing, voiceover, journalism) to earn a few extra shillings?
Unprofessional post- I’m seeing my new coworkers in person for the first time this weekend because I was a remote hire. But I have gained so much weight since covid that I feel like people are going to be disappointed when they see me in person. Because my professional headshot is from 2 years ago and I don’t look like that anymore. What do I do? I really want to cancel.

Anyone take a full time remote position? How do you like it? Does the company invest your at home office set up? Did you get a wework or equiv membership to feel like going into an office?

Equity question ... I was hired 9 months prior to going public and was told "there's no equity to give, but you'll get some when we go public". I was hired as Director of Corp Dev and have been essentially running all M&A. Let's say the company does make good on it's promise to grant equity, what is the minimum amount for which I should not feel screwed over? As effective Head of M&A, I feel waaaay underpaid at 200K + 20% bonus.

With coming inflation, would it be a good idea to consider shifting at least some of that into other funds like the C Fund (common stock index) or otherwise diversify? They don’t need all of the money right away but would need to slowly dip into it over time. TIA!
