Does anyone else love having ADHD? Granted, it’s a love/hate relationship and I’m completely glossing over the ‘hate’ aspect but I absolutely appreciate how it’s taught me that I think differently. Further, I’m often able to give things fresh perspective or interject alternative viewpoints.

Prescribed wellbutrin but have serious side effects. Was hoping this would be the magic pill. So bummed and ready to give up.

First day of 30mg vyvanse today. Had a rush of energy and hyperfocus (too much so) about 2-4 hours in, but had a complete crash 5hrs after taking the pill (just a wave of fatigue, felt very good after a quick 15min nap actually) and not sure if it had any effect after. Is this normal? Should I stick it out for a few days or is this a big sign that I’m not on the right meds/dose? Nervous to keep trialling this during the workday since a midday crash is not ideal. Appreciate any advice!

Any other males get really sensitive nipples (especially the left) when the adderall wears off? 😂 I wish I were joking, but it genuinely is irritating enough that I have to not wear a shirt / take week-long+ breaks once it reaches a certain point.

I have one doctor prescribing adderall and went to a different one for Zoloft. Is there any reason I would need to consolidate doctors? Each specialize in the respective field so feel fine having two.

How do you all manage exercise and meds? I take vyvanse and have a peloton, but am kinda scared of the heart rate increase combination. I find the vyvanse takes about 2h to kick in and so I try to take it by 6am otherwise I’m dealing with the “hitting me” feeling when at work (which has resulted in some really embarrassing situations). In the evenings, I’m so hungry that a workout is harder to do plus you never know when the work day will end!

Have never been able to pay attention when stressed. On current engagement, everything (internal & client) involves lots of people and moving parts and I can't think or be productive. Even in one-on-ones I've failed. Often nod yes by default even when I haven't understood, and try to recreate it alone later. How do you read text-heavy documents when on stimulants? I find it difficult to focus after day 2 / 3 on stimulants but somehow on Modafinil and coffee much better at reading and speed reading

Every task seems to take me much much longer than i estimate. If something is hard, i lose focus easily. Does anybody else face this? Any tips and techniques to tackle this?
