One of the reason I joined consulting was because it is extroverted profession. With all this WFH, I feel so lonely. I have very few friends and single. How do you meet friends and SO these days?
What are your thoughts on having to do remote learning from your classroom? Personally - my internet is much faster at my house and I don’t have any kids so no major distractions. I feel like I’d be more productive in my house with my Chromebook and an extra monitor but I certainly know that’s not the case for every or may I dare to say most people???

What is in general policy for work from home?
Considering buying the condo now that I will retire to in 4 years. I found the place, I like it, exactly what I want where I want. I'm worried about interest rates and increasing costs such that I will be priced out when I retire. It's in a vacation/resort area and I could use it on weekends while still working and wfh. I can afford the mortgage and costs on top of what I'm paying for primary residence. Buy now or wait 4 years?
Anyone here work at USAA? What’s the culture like and are they flexible in terms of being remote? Curious about benefits and 401k and bonus.

Without RSUs/Stock, I am unsure what the going base pay rate is for these companies at this level. I live in Austin but the roles are remote.

WFH tips?? Any and all advice appreciated 🙏🙏
My firm does not allow remote work- at least not for associates. The firm recently hosted a holiday party and insisted that every associate had to attend in person. Masks were not worn. I, along with a huge number of other associates, caught Covid and I’m convinced it was from the party. Is it ridiculous to consider leaving for another firm? Should I sue for making us attend a holiday party at the height of the pandemic?
Any non-contract remote PM roles out there? Or is this as rare as a unicorn? Would appreciate any referrals. 4+ of PM, finishing up MBA w/PM concentration, almost 15 YOE DoD. TS/SCI.
