With current salary around 120k, should I pause my career to do a full time MBA or do something part time like the Booth Evening and Weekend program. goal is defense/national security consulting at MBB. It would put a lot of financial strain on my family for me to quit working and go to school full time but at the same time I worry that part time will drastically reduce my chances for the career I really want.

Anyone else juggling having kids at home during the winter break and trying to work from home around your SO (who is also working from home). I asked my husband to please use a table cloth when he uses that table for d&d with his friends to avoid scratches and the loud dice on the table. Spouse is a state department employee and currently overseas. I’m a manager with three years of experience in consulting and 8 years of experience in the military where I left as a O-3 (GS-12 equivalent). SO wants me to take a non-negotiable family member hire role at the embassy overseas for one year so we can co-locate. Job sounds interesting, but is a non-negotiable GS-6 equivalent. I was interviewed in March and uploaded all my docs in April and joined tcs in Sept.
My offer letter was released twice because of mismatch in experience by HR.
So my BGC is not scheduled after accepting offer letter 2nd time.

So. My cat just pooped in the very expensive yarn I'm currently using. How do I recover from this? I have half a hat and half a ball of now quite smelly yarn. I shook out all the crap but what do I do now? Ignore it and hope it airs out? Hand wash the yarn and let it air dry? Spray with febreeze and never look the person I'm giving this to in the eye again? Burn it and give up knitting until i no longer have a cat?
