Living in LA is seeing so many random fucked up things unfortunately. I’m sorry you had to see that. Poor cat as well 😭❤️
This is why you’ll sometimes see older people walking with golf clubs (in the South Bay). They’re for coyotes. 🙃 I remember thinking the pups running around the ravine growing up were dogs, but now I realize they were coyotes.
I’ve seen this, multiple times. In very different parts of the city. It’s a thing. Look it up. Apparently, this isn’t the work of coyotes, as when I’ve seen them, they’re almost surgically split in half, and coyotes wouldn’t be so neat. And the fact I’ve always also seen them strewn across someone’s front yard is suspicious.
This has been happening for a long time.. it’s not a recent thing
No reason to be scared. Coyotes are far more scared of you than you are of them. Attacking a human is exceptionally rare.
Now if you are afraid that it’s a human, sure, be worried about the crazies, but again, extremely unlikely they are doing anything more than making a prank statement to scare the neighborhood.
Even in the extremely unlikely scenario of a serial killer, it’s still statistically better chance you win the lotto or be hit by lightening than to be the victim in a city the size of LA. You are more likely to be hurt every time you drive your car or fly on a plane.
Humans are very bad at understanding risk.
PS1 has a tendency to throw out these ludicrous comments on this bowl. When asked to back up any of their claims, 🦗 🦗.
