I found out that my firm does NOT have profit sharing. I approached the head partner of the firm and proposed a new potential client, this would be a really well paying company. He was happy about it and told me to pursue the company. When I asked about the percentage of profit sharing the response was, none as the firm only shares profits with executive partners....

My best friend took a year off work and just traveled around South America with just a backpack and duffle bag of essentials. He spent about $5 to $10 a night at local hostels and food costs cheaper at local restaurants and shops. He spent roughly $500 a month on room and board. Aside from activities like bungee jumping or live sports events, most of the other activities costs little to nothing. Debating on saving up and just escape for a bit just like that.

Today is a perfect example on why I miss WFH. Today I woke up feeling like trash, stomach is killing me. I have no in person meetings but I feel bad about telling my partner im working from home.

Why are accountants and government officials saying health care workers should be mandated to get vaccines? A large percentage of health care workers do not want the vaccine and unfortunately once the vaccine is mandated this data will be gone, but as of today NY Healthcare workers are only about 30 percent vaccinated. The vaccine has been out for a year, they could've gotten it by now. So are we saying the nurses who were heroes last year are no longer heroes? Do we really think we know more?🤦
