Lodged unfair dismissal claim against previous employer & offered short term contract with a business that sometimes provides services to them.
Do I advise new employer, or withdraw my claim?
I don't want to withdraw the claim, but am concerned ex-employer may not use new employers services after once I work there or new employer wont renew my contract once completed.
I don't want to seem dishonest or be judged for my claim.

I would recommend advising the new employer and making them understand the reasons for your claim.

like

How is the claim progress so far? I'm sort of tempted to say just let the new company know potentially...but if you never have to interact with the old company then I don't see why

like

Awaiting court hearing, I can withdraw if i really need to.
I wont necessarily have to deal with the ex employer, but worried they'll stop working with new employer once they find out I work there & if new employer finds out, a no extension of contract will be offered.
Concerned if i tell new employer in advance, they'll not want to proceed.

I’m not old BUT when I was younger I thought it was important to have all the alphabets after my name (I.e. Phr, SHRM and all the others). I learning that the younger crowd coming into the market thrives off these identifiers yet they know very little about the real world aspects of the job. I watch leadership roll their eyes at the email footers. I feel like keeping those attached to my name hurts my credibility so I removed them…. I’m I thinking wrong?
