Woman approaching 40, dated once, LTR once and heartbroken by 32 as I found the man in LTR was cheating on me. Shut my heart completely to ensure never give anyone the power to hurt me. Today I wake up and see years have passed. I have checked off many bucketlist items being single for these years including solo euro trip. But now I feel I can’t go on forever. I just wish I had someone to plant a good morning kiss, like simple things in life. Hard to share these feelings, hence confessing

How can I "live downtown" for a few months? I live in north Chicago now with my partner, but I've always wanted to try out the downtown, walk to work, city life. Is there an affordable way for me to do that short term just as a bucket list thing? I'll keep my current apartment, just get an additional thing for little bit. The closest thing I've found is summer student housing for schools in the city. Get 1 furnished bedroom in a 4 bed place. Any other options?

I also feel like PTs dont get paid that much anymorr because of inflation. I feel “poor”. I love being a PT but thinking about the future, having a house, having kids.. i dont think being a PT can sustain it all. i think our max would be around $90k in the clinical aspect. Tres Leches Cake - Popular Latin American dessert. Also seems to be the cake of the day with good reason. It’s the perfect summer cake. This sponge cake is soaked in 3 different types of milk and has a bread pudding consistency. It is usually topped with whipped cream cherries or fresh summer berries. I find tres leches cakes too be overly sweet imo. This version cuts back on the sugar and condensed milk making it just right. .

Help me menu plan! Having another couple over on Friday for a little birthday celebration, so four people total. Not sure what to make/serve, could be as casual as charcuterie or an all-appetizer meal, or something more composed, plus cocktails. Only requirements are relatively low key to make, and hopefully not crazy expensive.
