For online viewing it's almost impossible. Wait till you're here, stay in an Airbnb until you get a place. Which should be very quick. Most places go with the first couple of viewings so very hard to agree in advance without putting an offer in.
Accommodation moves quick in London, places can go within 24 hours of listing and are usually available at short notice. You’re better off waiting until you arrive, getting friendly with the estate agent and they will highlight new properties to you before they hit rightmove.co.uk
Honestly it’s so hard, when you see sometime reasonably priced, some people would put an offer even higher so even if you see the listing price and put an offfer you may not even get it.
You just have to sacrifice a bit if you want to rent your own apartment. I just went through it so I know the feeling.
