I am so tired of being treated like an assistant and I’m at a loss on how to correct it. My coworkers are generally nice, but while I watch white (usually male) associates at my level or even more junior get substantive work, I’m still receiving administrative tasks as a mid-level. Appreciate any advice.
How long should I wait before accepting an offer, I mean to negotiate a better offer internally and then giving them an counter???
Or all this negotiation can happen after accepting as well???
Looking for suggestions.
I'm a scotch whisky drinker, pretty much exclusively, apart from a few select Irish bottles. Live in Ireland. So go tos would be Springbank, Kilkerran, Laphroaig, Caol Ila, Arran, Highland Park, Glengoyne...
On many visits to the US I've tried various Bourbons. Never very successful. Always seemed overly sweet and syrupy to my palette.
But I'm sure there are great choices out there.
What would you suggest as quality American whiskies for a scotch fanatic?
Putting #KamalaHarris as #VP into perspective. See the red box? Until then, she would have been enslaved. See the blue box? Until then, she couldn’t vote. Yellow box? Until then, she had to attend a segregated school. And the green box? Until then she couldn’t have her own bank account. Let the significance of this achievement sink in.

I was contacted by a recruiter just before I went on maternity leave. We stayed in touch and now, a month into my leave, I am preparing for a first interview at Google for an interaction designer role. First, any tips on how to prepare for this interview? Second, I feel like if I’m doing all this interview/material prep, I should go all in, apply at other big companies and try for multiple offers. Would I be wasting time since I don’t want to cut my leave (goes to July) short?

Is there talk of mid-year promotions in UKI?
Has anyone moved to Accenture Uk directly from some other MNC in India. I am being told that Accenture Uk will sponsor the visa but the Visa cost will be initially paid out by myself and it is approx 10000 pounds. This will be reimbursed once I come to the Uk. Also , for dependents Accenture will not sponsor the visa which is almost 5000 per person. Any insights on this would be useful.?
