** long post**. I was hired as an associate for client engagement on the tech side of an IB. I’m only engaging with internal clients but our team do modelling, reporting, for internal clients. I also create pitch decks and present, again only internally. When hired I was under the impression I was entering a FO type role but I don’t believe this to be the case now. Does anyone know if this is BO, MO or non revenue generating FO? If that exists.

I had the final interview for an internship position at a company and before the interview, the recruiter mentioned that they would make their decision on or before April 1st and if I didn’t hear anything back I should assume that they moved on with a different candidate.
