Long-time sales operations/compensation professional, who loves their team & company but has recently realized they are really turned on by enterprise-level operational efficiency opportunities. Passively considering making the jump to this being an official role. Often think of it as building out an internal strategic consultant group, flying around the org and choosing projects to streamline employee experience, free up capacity of teams to enable their ability to go and create value (cont'd)
(cont'd) What would be a good naming convention for this capability? Head of Strategic Projects? Simply "BizOps" (though I personally loathe the prospect of being in any type of recurring deliverable role)? I'm trying to bill this (or find an opp) where it's thought of as a self-funding operation, fueled by those values/efficiencies gained. TIA!
