Anyone else getting hit with crazy requests lately that are beyond absurdity with scheduling or budget (even both)? In the same week I have been asked to do a remote docu shoot with real people for under 10k, an animated spot for tv in two weeks without a descent budget for the ask and a photo shoot for under 15k where the talent usage is in perpetuity and it’s only Wednesday!!!
Anyone hiring ASC 740 managers with heavy international experience in Chicago? Looking at industry jobs or might jump to another B4 if $$$ is correct. Open to remote as well.
What are the underlying meanings of the big 4 terms? Like “work from home" means I’ll be online but no work pls, “high level review” means I didn’t look and all the responsibilities fall on you etc
The number of posts about bras and not having to wear them while WFH tells me there’s a big pain point and business opp’ty ladies: who wants to launch the next Unicorn company and revolutionize bras?
I have been a computer engineer for the past 2 years and am looking to shift to a fully remote role, what companies are hiring for remote work right now?
Hello Folks, Can you pls advise on which company to go for. R-Systems : They are providing WFH + clarity on the project and team for which I’ll be working upon. CTS : No clarity as of now, only thing I am aware is that I’m a part of full stack community. HCL : Some clarity on the project but less package than other two. R-Systems and CTS are giving same CTC. YOE ~8 Skill set : . Net full stack + Angular + Azure Thanks
Has anyone joined a team that is all full time remote, with people in different countries and time zones? How has the onboarding process been? Have you been able to form a connection with your team? Considering some opportunities but very skeptical of how this would all go down and if it would be super lonely and depressing. There may not be a chance to actually meet people and have that bond with your co-workers that makes work bearable
During WFH I grew my hair, just took vacation and got twists in that time. Anybody on hear rocking twists to work and what are the attitudes towards it. I am considering going full dread locks.
I’m a total lard ass after WFH for almost 2 years and I’m starting a new job that’s mostly in person. None of my cute work clothes fit to boot so I have to figure out what I’m going to wear while working on losing the weight. Great.
I need a side job that I can work evenings and/or weekends that can generate at least $1000 extra dollars a month. I was thinking real estate but I know nothing about it… then I thought bartending but again, I know nothing about it… I don’t want to spend more than 20 hours per week working this side job and if it is remote AND contract, that would be great. Any advice?
Let me know If anyone is interested or has questions about Secure On-Set Remote Video Streaming or the new On-Set Protocols that I experienced on the 3 commercials I’ve just finished in Los Angeles. I’ve been doing On-Set Remote Streaming for 3 years, and Video Playback (VTR) for 19 years mostly on Commercials in LA. The new norm is quite different. I'm limited to 500 words in these posts, but for anyone interested I can give you free demo of Live stream and answer any questions. -Brett Junod
Trying to help my wife upgrade her WFH setup. She gets some road noise at times and is backlit in the afternoon. Anyone have suggestions for webcam and external microphone that would handle that? … and no curtains aren’t an option. She loves to look of the room and the blinds that are there.
Looking for a senior graphic designer for a facebook ad design. Looking to build a retainer relationship, for additional projects. We are located in Chicago, but open to remote. Hit me up. 👌🏻

My friend was Offered a Content Operations Coordinator role at Instagram for $30/hr or about 62,400/year. She’s making about that much right now as a retail analyst. When getting promoted, is it common for agencies to propose a new salary/raise or do employees give a figure first? If the former, how much room for negotiation is there (if any) + what's the (cont'd)

Just got the axe, it’s weirdly nice to be laid off via Zoom and not walk the plank to HR and have everyone see me publicly crying. Time to crack a beer for sure.
WPP fish- anyone ever have luck with cross company transfers for a new position? I’m nervous about having to tell HR that I’m looking for a new gig. Feel like they’ll wanna get rid of me if they know.
