I’d take the updated one any day. You’ll be more comfortable and not have to worry about or deal with this or that breaking or leaking.
Where do you have cell service? Are the units same for transport? What about utilities? Size? Elevator wait times? I’d do an older kitchen for 5 mins back/day over an updated one. Just ask the landlord if they’ve got plans to update
To add - price is pretty much the same , and amenities comparable.
Also to consider (if you are into minor things), the north facing units would have higher electricity bill during summer time versus the south facing ones
Thank you for the inputs - first off I think I forgot to mention that I’m going to be renting and not owning. A1 - landlord mentioned updates would bump up rent by $500. The other features are every much same between the two units.
@C1, I think you have that reversed. North facing windows rarely get sun, thus the unit will stay cooler in the summer and require less AC.
