Looking at a few homes in the Seattle area and thinking of (possibly) buying a houseboat. Does anyone know if these are harder to get title insurance for?

It is much more complicated because the insurance companies behave jealously with this type of property, that is, they do not like it, a house on solid ground is much more business since very few things can cause a problem for them, now on the subject price is more expensive than in other cases.

Since your intention is to buy a houseboat in Seattle, I recommend that you read this article in detail, in addition to talking about insurance, it will help you choose a good option.

If it is more difficult to obtain this type of insurance, in addition to being higher, the risks in this type of housing are much higher and few insurance companies work with it.

There are many insurances in Seattle that are available for this type of management, but I have to tell you that they are more expensive than those at home, it is evident why.

In this topic, we have the typical motto, cheap is expensive, that is, if you can get cheap insurance for houseboats in Seattle, you should keep in mind that it has many small letters, so it is advisable to go directly for serious insurance with great coverage. but surely it is of a much higher price.
