Looking at apple watches. Do I need to get one with cellular? I seem to always have my phone on me. What am I missing here? Also what colour and band is most common/conservative for the office?

I got cellular but never have used it. It’s good if you want to leave your phone at home during a run. Let’s you listen to music and navigate. But if you always have your phone then you really don’t need cellular. I got the pink watch with the pink band. No problems with it from an aesthetic standpoint in the office!

Anyone have thoughts on 3 vs 5? Worth the $200?

like

5 has better/more useful watch faces (infograph), better battery life, and more screen real estate with the same form factor

I don’t have cellular and don’t regret it/no what I’m missing. I use it for fitness tracking, checking meeting, texts, email and weather. There aren’t often times when my phone is not by me.

As for band color. I went with black on black. My wife has pink on pink which she wears to work as well.

I have the 3 with cellular. I’ve never used the cellular and don’t need/want it. Also, it’d cost an extra $10+/mo and that’s just not worth it for the higher cost of the watch for what it’d deliver.

like

I also thought cellular was unnecessary since I, like you, always have my phone on me. However, my thought process was I could get cellular and not activate it (I have not activated it to this day and don’t pay additional each month), but the option would always be there down the line in case I changed my mind.

I do really like having the cellular option, there are lots of opportunities to leave your phone behind now if I want to, like the gym or running errands.

If you have just gps, does it work the same as long as you have your phone w you? Or does it also need to be connected to WiFi?

Consultant with 1 YOE here. I am strongly considering quitting to pursue my previous dream of becoming an MD/DO (was an EMT), which I believe may eventually offer the job satisfaction/WLB I seek. Financially, I know it makes the most sense to continue down my current career path but I can’t help feeling that I will truly regret giving my all to corporate business one day/wearing this facade for 20+ years. I’d try industry but it could end up wasting too much time. Is this a sane decision?

I'm entering my final year of law school but am going part time since I work full time as a paralegal. I have been a paralegal for more 10+ years and I want to open my own firm after I pass the bar.

I've worked at a lot of different size firms including a startup with a few attorneys and I was able to help with a lot of the ground work with getting the practice management system in place and still do some of that now at my current firm. Has anyone done this right out of law school? Any advice?

Pwc GC policy question- I am an SA but my I140 was filed for Manager title. Now if I leave after 6months of I140 approval but am still SA is the I140 valid so I can jump to another company, or is it nullified or something as I don’t have Manager title now. will the new company be able to leverage the priority date? Only 2 yr left on out of 6yrs of H1B.

Hi ladies, I need some advice/validation on a relationship argument I recently had. My significant other of 6 years whom I own a house with doesn't think a neighbor calling him any hour of the day (sometimes before he is awake for work and sometimes after 10 or 11pm during the work week) 7 days a week for non emergency requests is an issue. I have asked for him to set some boundaries and he has resulted into saying I don't want him to help people.
