Looking at two identical condos, each 1900 sq ft, however one is a duplex up and the other is a straight condo. My preference is to go for the one that doesn’t have a split level as it means the space is (or appears) relatively larger. However, the duplex up is going for quite a bit more so was curious which would appraise better and which would be preferred by most buyers since I plan to sell the unit in 5-6 years?

Sometimes it’s nice to have to separate floors to have some separation between spaces/noise.

like

Fwiw, both units are in 3 story buildings with low HOAs - not high rises

Duplex will still hold value once everyone and their hedge fund owns a condo in a place with an elevator

Same finished, same number of baths/bedrooms?

Yes, same - 3 bdrm / 2 baths

I went through six rounds of interviews including putting together a 30 minute presentation which I presented to the whole team. The whole process took about six weeks. I turned down another lead position at a different company waiting. After all that they told me that hiring for this role was on hold until further notice. At the end of the day it’s business, but I am left feeling like I wasted my time (and theirs.)Totally confused and disheartened by this process. Anyone else experiencing this?
