I'm seeing two- three weeks

Nearly impossible to say. For the younger ones, 40’s to 60’s in Boston, once we got them down to 2LNC, they went to the convention center or DCU to wean down the O2 which would free up our beds in 4 to 5 days once the tests started turning around in 24 hours. We sent the people who had insurance home with O2 once cleared by ID. In the beginning, tests were taking 3 to 4 days. Obviously the ICU patients were likely 2 to 3 weeks, many still there as there are no more rehab vent beds available (LTAC’s). These facilities have been shutting down in MA pre Covid which will continue to be a barrier in public emergency’s such as this.

Average 2-3 weeks, but we have had an overall more ill service so many in the 4+ week range too

Is it common to have a obgyn and a doula/cnm for pregnancy. I have a high risk pregnancy and already working with a obgyn. But I don’t want a doctor to be there during l&d just to ‘catch the baby’. Started last trimester and considering to book a doula or cnm. Should I go with someone affiliated to the same clinic as the doctor or can I hire from out side too? How does this work?

Anyone willing to share some best resources (books, podcasts, etc) for imposture syndrome? For awareness, I am a white women in HR. Always struggled with confidence but experienced some brutal/toxic management with my HR role with a bad business partner (now in a new role), and I am continuing to struggle with my confidence. Appreciate resources that are “self-help”. Also considering a therapist but hoping to also own the process myself for quicker “recovery”. TIA!

Hi all,
I graduated during Covid with a double major in business administration and business management with a minor in marketing and magically ended up in sales because I needed a job. I’m about to take a data analytics course to make an attempt to break into that field. I’m currently looking for a mentor to help guide me during this time. Also, if anyone is willing to look over my resume and give me tips on how to make it more presentable for recruiters in DA that would be very helpful. Thanks

Hi, currently looking for a job in Consulting as I got laid off during COVID. I have experience in software consulting for 5 years now, recent experience working in HIT doing Software implementations.

I am currently in my first trimester (almost at the end) and I am having the hardest time working while pregnant. I don’t feel like I’m able to perform at pre-pregnancy levels and I feel discouraged.

Hi, my husband was diagnosed Covid on Monday. I told a few partners I worked for (and made clear that I have to take him to hospital for treatment and follow up checks) and pretty much got no sympathy. Every email started with hope he feels better but when your get a second, could you do this? Could you do that? So today I am confirmed Covid (and I’m pregnant), haven’t told work about Covid or pregnancy. What should I do? What’s the expectation of time off if you get Covid at a law firm?

Hello fitness / nutrition people! I feel like I can figure out my nutrition when it comes to linking it with my fitness. I’m F, 30 years old, 5’5 and 110 lbs. I don’t want to lose weight but am working on general cardio health (endurance), toning, and some muscle building. I do high intensity workouts and some lifting. What / when should I be eating beforehand? If I don’t eat I have a bad workout. Today I tried eating a bigger lunch about 3 hours beforehand and felt sick/too full. Help!

Hello all! New grad OT looking at taking a position as a pediatric home health therapist. Starting is $55 per visit and $115 for evals/re-evals. Is this pretty standard?

For those of you at your goal weight/peak physical health- what are some of the benefits you’ve experienced aside from aesthetics? For background, I’ve gained 20 lbs this year and I can *feel* the difference and it’s not pretty. For example, I now have acid reflux which I’ve never had before 🙃. So I’m wondering if there’s other benefits I never even considered! I would love to hear some inspiration about other end of the spectrum as I begin this lifestyle change to lose weight.

How are those over 60 handling covid 19 aspects of being labeled population that should treated differently when coming back (or if allowed to) to work?

I’m jealous of all the support & praise Simone Biles is getting for stepping away from competition to focus on her mental health. I’m on the edge of my breaking point and wish I could press pause and step away with the same support.

Are Indian-Americans persons of color? I’m open to honest criticism if they’re not. I feel bad “hogging” any chance for other diverse attorneys to get in the door and find success in the legal profession (especially African-American attorneys) but at the same time so much closet bias against Indian-American attorneys exists in law firms across America. Getting business is often hard because we don’t “look the part” as a white colleague once told me.

Used to rejection and I don’t let it get me down, but with the job market being the way it is—should I put my plans to get into tech on hold? I was thinking maybe construction sales or even possibly recruiting. I’m hesitating because of the nitpicking from HMs and recruiters for “job hopping”. Do I stay the course and make a move into tech for next gig or wait until things stabilize more? It’s really difficult right now with the candidate pool being so vast in tech.

Deloitte ARA People - I don’t think it’s any secret that CMAAS and FAAS both have a much bigger presence than ARA. I have only seen you in the wild one time.

Has something changed recently that would indicate this will change? Is Deloitte more committed to the practice now? I can’t imagine if I asked this 3 years ago that Deloitte would have said “Nope we don’t care about ARA.”

Is it FOMO on the IPO / SPAC projects? Once all this dies down are they going to lose interest?
