I’d say go with a fun micro. The Traska Summiteer is inspired by the explorer but has some cool details like the two texture dials and hardened steel case and bracelet a la Sinn’s tegimented.
Haven’t seen this one in the flesh, but their diver with the mint face is a cool watch and very well made.
For $500 what’s the risk?

I think Tissots are a little over priced in general. Powermatic 80 is a nice model however it reminds me of datejust. In my opinion best choice would be Seiko SKX 009 or 007. It costs around 300 dollars.

What Rolex do you have?

I wouldn’t buy a less expensive watch that looks like a Rolex to avoid wearing the Rolex that you have. I say this from experience, haha. After a few weeks you’ll realize you wasted $1,000.
If, however, you have an dressy Rolex and want something rugged, or vice versa, that’s a different story (which is why I ask what Rolex you currently have).

I like that Tissot a lot. It’s probably not the best choice if what you already have is a Datejust or something like that, then I’d go with a different style altogether.
Consider the Sinn 556. Comes in black or blue dial. Seriously overbuilt watch with perfect proportions.
If used then yes. Otherwise only a bit over at around $1200 iirc.
