Take a look at ebags TLS line. I have the professional Weekender which is great for 3 to 5 day trips plus a couple laptops and electronics. I use it for work and for weekend alt travel trips. It may be a touch too big for some and they, therefore, may prefer the smaller Professional Slim.

Just noticed you're leather requirement. Don't get leather they look, in my opinion, cheap in a pedantic way. Also, they just seem less durable and not as functional.

Lace up shoes, patterned shirts )
-Unique design
-leather
-durable
-less than $400
-need to hold other stuff such as small notepad, pens, average size book, passport and IDs, phone chargers etc.

Any recommendations? I like Tumi but it is not unique as its very common and i dont like to follow the herd lol

[query] Is it a good idea to say a firm No due to medical reasons to a new night shift project I'm hired in?Accenture

I recently got a night shift project (2 days ago) that requires me to work from 10:30pm till 7:30am

I'm not comfortable with these timings and I'm thinking to ask my manager to put me on Bench (Due to medical reasons that involve mental health)

Is it a nice idea to say a firm No to a new project I'm hardlocked into, due to night shifts?

MOSS ADAMS SoCal (Irvine, San Diego, LA) BRS people can you please provide some insight? I spoke to an experienced hire recruiter today and he said the company is moving to a hybrid model to include more in-person time between clients and staff. How often are you traveling to client sites and the office? is it as much as audit 2-3 weeks living in a hotel or sitting in the client's office? or maybe once a month? or are you working mostly remote? Thank you.

I've worked at the same engineering firm for 4 years. I'm currently making $161k with only a $750 bonus, but excellent vacation (4 weeks, cash out anytime, rolls over indefinitely), 45 hours a week. I have an interview with a recruiter at Guidehouse this week for a Technical Project Manager role. It seems to be focused in the government space and requires a security clearance. What sort of salary and benefits could I expect for this sort of role at Guidehouse?

Has anyone lateraled from big law into an in-house role at one of your firm’s clients? I feel like this happens quite a lot and curious how that process went (did you reach out to them, they to you, etc)? I’m in my second year and staffed on a large client & starting to develop a relationship which I’d like to maintain. I’m thinking about hanging in here for another year or two but then starting to look to lateral. Would love to work for this company if a position is available at that time.

Hello,
I’m a junior data scientist and in my current job I mostly code using Pyspark (no machine learning) so I would like to work on a side project that could leverage my profile and data science/ML skills. What project would you advice me to work on ? (it can be a kaggle project, or a classic task that you do at your job, or a paper that you read).
I’m overwhelmed by the many suggestions online and would prefer to get a suggestion directly from professionals.
PS : I’m not a beginner.

Pros to EJ: Have my own office, a year or two away from partnership, great office setting and client satisfaction.

Pros to Merrill: Bump in compensation, additional tools and services w banking, ability to take over assets.

Does anyone put money in VAs for a business client? What are the PROS/CONS/DIFFERENCES? Scenario: 5 doctors want principle protection first and growth of principle second. Each doctor is 20% vested. The business is cash rich and time horizon is 3 to 5 years. Thoughts/Advice welcome. I already have the potential company/product with no surrender period so I don’t need referrals but I’m thinking there will be at least one person who only reads part of this post and referred me anyway. :-( TIA
