Looking for a birth year watch - 1989. Currently have a 1976 Omega Genève, a early 2000s IWC Mark XV and a 2019 Zenith El Primero. Have very skinny arms. Budget is below 10k. What do you guys think?

This could be sweet: https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=751197 I’d be concerned about bracelet stretch, how many links it has, how accurate the movement is running, and if there are any movement issues though. But you can usually just search for 1989. Wannabuyawatch also has a Birthyear finder, but they currently have limited options. I encourage you NOT to buy a $9,000 tritium sub from 1989...

Thanks. I tried the Ceramic GMT and it felt a tad too big. Definitely need to try out the non-maxi case option. Any suggestions below 40mm?

Here it is looking sexy on a strap. White gold fluted bezel, and has Rolex crown and caseback.

I am in the process of negotiating an offer for a new job. At my current job, bonuses will be paid out on august 20th. The bonus is sizable so I would like to stay long enough to obtain it. Ideally, I would wait until the bonus hits my account before I put in my 2 weeks. If the new job wants me to start sooner than august 20th, is it acceptable to say that I want to stay because of the bonus, or should I give a different reason? Is it a bad look if I say I want to stay for the bonus?

Okay, ZS fish. I am hoping you can help with: 1) base salary for new grad MBA hire 2) average time to promotion from associate to AC, AC to Consultant, Consultant to Sr Consultant (if that’s the next step) 3) base salary for Consultant and Sr Consultant earned via promotion from AC

Question for you all: Left D to Company A for a 50% raise in TC and slated to start in <1 week. However, just got an offer at Company B for a 100% raise in TC compared to D, or 30% raise in TC compared to company A. Both firms do similar work but B provides a more solid comp package. Job duties would be relatively similar. Is the % jump worth burning the bridge? Would have chosen Company B if the offer came sooner but the % difference in A to B is at my [personal] 30% threshold. TIA!
