Curious to get an idea of where my company compares regarding compensation. I am one of a team of 5 advisors dedicated to about 6500 individual clients and $2.97Billion in client assets. Each one of us is fully licensed (7,66 and insurance), and I hold my 24. My base is $80k with a VC target of 40% of base salary. Goals are mostly made up of client satisfaction surveys, asset additions, and retention. I feel that we are grossly underpaid for the role, but not sure exactly how that compares.

A friend has failed the bar a few times, and it has so affected him that he decided he won’t try again. Fortunately he had a career prior to school and returned to it (with massive loan debt).
