Curious to get an idea of where my company compares regarding compensation. I am one of a team of 5 advisors dedicated to about 6500 individual clients and $2.97Billion in client assets. Each one of us is fully licensed (7,66 and insurance), and I hold my 24. My base is $80k with a VC target of 40% of base salary. Goals are mostly made up of client satisfaction surveys, asset additions, and retention. I feel that we are grossly underpaid for the role, but not sure exactly how that compares.

E.g. if it is X then will they give X or 50% of X. Q2) Is this offer as per TCS standard? Q3) Does it worth joining TCS from Big4 with just a 25% hike as I am expecting a 15% hike in the current firm in June? Thanks!

Anyone know of media agencies in Denver metro that are hiring?

Something has been bothering me, but I feel guilty for thinking it. Basically I'm making about 20K more than my partner after I got a new job (annual salary before tax), because he decided to switch to software development later in life. He is about 31 now with a junior/intermediate developer position. I'm worried that he's too late in the game and will never catch up to his peers and even to me...I know I shouldn't think this way, but just can't help but worry im with someone who is too behind

Hey team! I've been thinking about what success would mean in terms of this platform and general inclusion in the team. These are some of my thoughts: 1. Frequency of positive engagements (positive in a productive, constructive sense) 2. Increasing numbers of people engaging in each topic as they get more comfortable using the tool and airing their opinions 3. Some measure outside the app of team engagement in day to day interactions (changes in psychological safety) What are your thoughts?

I heard that MC professionals in PwC US Advisory and Deloitte USI S&O work for 12+ (sometimes 16 hours) a day. How are you guys able to manage this? Don't you get frustrated working for so long and with minimal work life balance?

A friend has failed the bar a few times, and it has so affected him that he decided he won’t try again. Fortunately he had a career prior to school and returned to it (with massive loan debt). I understand we are in a pandemic, but I can’t help but think of him every time I hear discussion of the diploma privilege bar admission alternative to the bar exam. Do you think this is the best alternative?
