The Rocket 350 engine has more than enough power for fun weekend driving.
If your budget is in the $40-50k range, there are tons of good options for you.
Miata is always the answer. Fantastic handling, reliability, excellent community, and its Italian cousin the Fiat 124 has more power if that's what you're looking for. Definitely available in manual, which is increasingly less the case in luxury cars like Jags, Mercedes, etc. Save yourself 10K!
LS swap a Miata and you’ll be set

BMW M240 convertible - comes in a manual and super fun to drive.
If you enjoy your car being in the shop, go for the f-type. Especially since for 40-50k you’d be buying used.

A/S5 Cabriolet, 440i BMW
Mercedes SL (would have to buy used)
Go with the F-type. Absolute Stunner. Unless u go the big three (P911, F430 or Lambo) go with the Ftype.
