Looking for a global Human Capital/ HR Transformation/ or Change Management consulting type of role which allow me to travel internationally and working with people across various cultures. Any idea on how I could get into such a career? Does anyone here do global human capital work? If so, what was your career path?

Work for the state department...

I’ve been on two projects that let me work across borders and travel internationally. The similarities were -

-Project is a tech adoption or implementation of an SaaS product
-Client is a multinational investing to consolidate processes and systems
-Be in a OCM and training role. Got a chance to travel to do ILT training and Train the trainer and hypercare support
-Not be in a cost cutting phase. Travel expenses can get high

I don’t know if there’s a specific role in consulting that mainly do these but I guess you can market your skills for international projects

I’ve tried to get in a role mentioned here but I was told I “have” to remain on the implementation side. Basically, they siloed me and I hate the work.

These days, is it a plus to have agency experience vs. those who don’t? Do hiring decision makers prefer those who have proven to be adept strategists across a variety of industries or those with more focused background in their specific industry? For context, I have about 5 years progressive agency experience in brand and campaign/messaging strategy, and about 3-4 years various in-house marketing roles before that as a younger professional. I’m thinking about moving in house once more. Thanks!

Am I being paid enough in Boston?

I have 7yrs of Business Analyst experience playing product/operations/project manager/test lead roles. I also have 2 master’s degree (MBA & MSIT). With a recent acquisition/inflation, I got moved to a tech team and now making $125k + 20% bonus.

Looking for advancements or career change next year.

I am underpaid by my standards but tbh I am severely overpaid for the job I am doing. I work really 12hrs a week (light) with the remaining 28hrs just chilling with nothing to do. Would it be wise to pursue jobs with 50-60hr work weeks and 20-30k pay bump?
