This past Wednesday (the 24th), was 3 years of sobriety for me.

In 15 years of weekend binge/blackout drinking, NEVER had I gone more than 3 weeks without a drink (typically never more than 1 weekend without a drink), and now my sobriety is counted in years (though still one day at a time).

I am beyond grateful and I know that this is something I could never do on my own.

What’s the consensus on tattoos in the insurance workplace? I’m in leadership and considering exploring my options due to recent personnel changes. I work remote and have arm sleeves, and any time I would be in-person I’d of course wear a long sleeve shirt to be professional, but worry about a cuff rolling up and tattoos being somewhat visible. I’m depressed. My son often says “this is my worst day ever” and “I should have never been born”….when I ask and make a big deal of it he says he’s “joking”. I’ve told him it’s not funny at all and that we could take medical help if needed (which goes into another argument that I think something is “wrong” with him). Is this normal?
