Feeling bad for leaving right before busy season. I'm on a 9/30 client and I'm planning on leaving next month (I've been applying). Feel like I need to apologize to the team. Is that normal? I wish I could still manage another busy season, but my mental health is suffering. Meds just got bumped to twice my prior dosage. Do I have to explain all the details? I'm really torn on what to do. I feel like I'm definitely burning bridges.

I joined Mindtree on 8th Feb and not got project and I was waiting for last 2 and half month. So, i gave interview outside (tech mahindra) and got selected. Almost 30-35% they said they will give and i am negotiating on it.

I’m trying to figure out an easy framework to explain it. What are some specific nuances of our selling that I’m missing:

1. Practice: Function vs industry vs. Account

2. Pipeline: BD to find opps vs. RFPs

I’m really struggling to land my next project. I’m a GPS C and not new to the firm and my last project ended in September. I’ve reached out to EVERYONE I know, all referrals I got, applied through STAFFIT and followed up and I still don’t have a project offer. Been on the bench for about a month and a half now. Home prices will take a down turn in a few years. Considering the number of permits outstanding for home constructions and the number of new constructions, US is on pace to be overbuilding as an overreaction to the recent shortages. Also, much of the recent demand are from investors rather than primary home buyers. How will they react to a small downturn? That remains to be seen. Not saying don’t buy your primary, but just be aware that not all is well.

Gotta love when Uber shows 5min wait time but once ordered, they assign you to a driver 20min away but say “10min”. Happy Monday!
