Need advice: have been interviewing for a strat role. Did a case in late December. Someone left the team in new year so they have to reevaluate their org structure. Recruiter and director keep reaching out to confirm interest and just spoke to director. They won’t have an answer for 2-3 weeks now but still like me. Job is still open on LinkedIn. Are they going to hire me or not?

I have a union position as a therapist. My management kept telling me "we're working on it" when I asked about a raise since getting my LPC. Our union contract does not renew until 7/1 of next year. I brought this to my supervisors attention and now the director emails me to say basically "yes, we are working on a raise but nothing can happen until 7/1/2022". Has anyone else had this experience? Of management being vague and just stringing people along?
Was contacted by McKinsey HR for a BA role (exp hire) and was connected with internal folks, etc Now I’m being asked to apply online. Is this a formality? Should I not assume that I have the int?

Where exactly does Biglaw pay market ($205k+) salary? NY, California, DC, Chicago, Houston, some Boston… is that it? I see so many people posting about squirreling away their biglaw salary and saving, but I don’t see how that’s possible anywhere outside of Chicago and Houston. Am I missing somewhere else that’s relatively low COL and market-paying?

The only way I studied in college is by cramming. Sadly is so hard for me to get studying as it just seems like it’s so long of studying till you take the test and never ends. Have any of you guys passed FAR in a month of cramming? I’m also working but my clients are a little bit easier this time of year and have some PTO days at the end of next month. If you don’t mind sharing your studying techniques if you did pass in a month that would be awesome!
Hey Guys, I’m newer to sales and having difficulty hitting my number. With so many of my targets not seeing reps due to Covid, gaining access has been a large barrier. Any suggestions that you all can provide? I’d appreciate any advice. Syneos Health

Are career coaches helpful? My impression is that they give very general advice re networking, putting yourself out there, etc. I feel like I might need one but they're pretty expensive and I'm not sure if it's worth spending that money vs. doing my own research, reading some books. Anyone pro or con?
