I finished my Bcom in 2015 and will only start my CTA in 2022. Now,I have been working all these past years in a private firm and have gained a bit of experience. I would like to go the SAICA route and I have found an alternative route that does not include me doing my articles. I am now 25(1 child) and would like to find out if it's advisable to find articles and quit current job or just go on to do CTA and find work elsewhere afterwards?

What would you advise?

- he interviewed me while on holiday and he made several remarks about it during the conversation
- he kept his camera off
- he went on a 9min monologue about how hard is the job and how in Accenture there are more prestigious teams than the one I interviewed

Does anyone have family members who constantly demand money because they feel like you’re rich now because you’re a lawyer? I’ve always wanted to be in a position to help my family but we all live in the high COL city so my salary doesn’t carry me as far as it would elsewhere. I’ve given a detailed summary of all of my expenses yet every month one family member in particular comes to me for rent money (not some, the full amount, and they refuse to get a job). It has become quite the burden.

So i went downstairs and my doorman just told me he signed up for robinhood and is looking to invest. I told him: “stocks are pretty high. Be careful. I know you want to make money, but don’t risk what you can’t lose”. Meanwhile this guy next to me in my lobby just says: “put all you got in $Riot!!”

How do I build my confidence around a particular type of tech bro? I just started a new job and I have to work with a dude who’s been there a few years.
