I was interviewed for a Medicare/Medicaid role, but the hiring counsel thought I’d be great at pharmacy so placed me there. Currently working in the cloud transformation space at my firm, but would like to move to an architect role at AWS. Ideas on the best approach to do this?

I am torn about 2 offers I have (one I've accepted at a v10, & the practice i'm joining is band 1 ranked), and an in-house role where the hours would be much less, and the pay cut somewhat steep. Pros of the firm job are (1) $ since we are trying to buy a house and (2) It will hopefully be easy to go in-house after a few years at the firm. The in house gig is at a fintech firm that sounds amazing (great culture, hours are 9 to 6, and the work sounds ideal for me). I have 2 small kids. Advice?

I just started a new role as a Technical Support Manager. I know I can do this job & succeed - it’ll just take time to learn the product to truly become an expert. I am feeling a bit incompetent though & want to communicate effectively. When I applied for this job, I put in a salary expectation of $95k. They warned me that for this level, that was out of their range but I wanted to interview anyway because I was still interested. Interviews went well — they offered my the job AND were able to up it to a senior role so that they could meet my initial expectation. Question is, now that the title changed, do I negotiate for more or is that getting greedy? I’m afraid they would rescind the offer. Please advise!

Curious post - Talking with my peers in Audit last night who are in various industries; We spoke about different "busy seasons," rolls, tasks, etc. My question is - which clients/industries are the "worst" or "best?" We are talking in huge generalities btw from learning opportunities, hours worked, exposure, exit opportunities, etc. I.E - I have heard that "Insurance" is the worst on various threads.
