I’d recommend watching some YouTube videos from Hyram or Dr Dray about products for your specific skin type. They are both knowledgeable and research ingredients in depth before making recommendations.
I have normal to dry skin, mostly looking to refine texture and prevent fine lines.
My holy grails right now are: first cleanse with Jordan Samuels’ after show cleanser, second cleanse with Dr. Perricone nutritive cleanser, Jordan Samuels’ hydrate serum followed by Josh Rosebrook hydrating accelerator. Finish with Paula’s Choice Omega moisturizer in AM /PM or Paula’s Choice 1% retinol every other evening.
I love arcona. The white tea cleanser, cranberry toner, magic white ice moisturizer, are phenomenal as are their serums....

What are your concerns? That’s will really dictate most of these.
Here’s what I use. I worked in fashion + beauty media so I got a ton of free product and have tried a lot. Always go back to these:
Moisturizer - I cannot recommend belif’s True Cream Moisturizing Bomb enough. You can get it at Sephora. I will not use any other moisturizer!
Toner - I like Ordinary’s Glycolic Acid Toning Solution but it is STRONG - great if you need help with your skin texture.
Cleanser - lately I’ve been using Inkey List’s Salicylic Acid Cleanser - I’ve been getting breakouts and I feel like these keep them at bay somewhat. DONT spend too much on a cleanser, because you wash it off your face to quickly for anything to work.
Serum - there are two main ones I love - Vitamin C and Retinol. For those, I use this French brand that just launched eComm in the US called Typology. They have strong, simple formulas. But again, this will strongly depend on your skin concerns.
I have found that Sephora always has great advice for your skin type - and they can offer samples to try and are usually not pushy on selling you (eg they dont work on commissions)
I personally am a big fan of « clean » beauty - and especially at 25 years old what you need is mainly to cleanse well, moisturize and protect with SPF to prevent. Anything antioxidant (like vit C, but not only) will also be good to prevent aging.
I would recommend looking into the brands Caudalie or Youth to the People or Drunk Elephant. I have found them quite effective. Origins has some good products too. make sure you also use a daily SPF, ideally on top of your moisturizer but if you’re lazy pick one that has it in it.
The exact products to use would depend on your concerns - eg do you have oily or dry skin, do you have redness, do you have dehydrated skin, discoloration, etc.
