A sedan is fine with a baby. It gets pretty tight with 2 car seats though

I have an Infiniti G37 by the way and was not an issue with one car seat

Wagons are the best of both worlds IMO. Better handling than SUVs, as much or more cargo space, typically better mileage.

The new is350 is what you're looking for. You can fit a baby in there without a problem

Lexus RX is a nice mid-size suv. However, they can be expensive. If you want the same power, quality, and luxury, you can go with a Nissan Murano Platinum. They have really nice luxury features that are the same in a Lexus. And Muranos are reliable cars as well.

SUVs are safer than sedans. I love sedans as well but this fact made me purchase a small SUV

Not a Lexus, but I love my 2018 VW Tiguan, fully loaded.

Anyone had surgery to remove fibroids through laparotomy (abdominal cut) and was able to successfully get pregnant with IVF after? Did you do egg retrieval prior to or after the surgery? I’m 33 and my eggs don’t get any younger. Doctor said earliest I could get pregnant is 6 months post-op. Would prefer to do a retrieval round prior to surgery in Nov, would this make sense at all? Thank you 🙏

Not nearly enough messages. Was a senior when I had a kid...so nice of KPMG to NOT tell me the way to properly submit for parental leave back in the day.

For those who have kids or have decided you want to start having kids, how did you know you were ready to start trying? I’m turning 31 and my husband and I have been married for 8 months. I’ve always wanted to have kids eventually, but I’m having a hard time coming to terms with how much life will change and the sacrifices that have to be made. Maybe it’s because social media has made me acutely aware of the the mom struggle. If anyone has helpful advice to push past the fear, please share!

Curious to thoughts on “best time” to get pregnant/have kids. Am currently a first year consultant and would like to have one soon, but worried about my reputation and promotion timing.

Taking out a female friend and her one year old baby for brunch. Maybe this is a silly question, but do I ask the restaurant for a high chair for the kid? Or does the kid stay in the stroller while we eat? Clearly I’m a clueless friend here!

Considering PE, but concerned that the work-life balance is just as onerous, if not much worse, than consulting. Can PE folks be great at their job and have some semblance of a family life (ie evenings with fam, mostly free wknds, vacations without interruptions)? Don’t want to be an absent father

Earlier this week I was so busy I only pumped three times when I normally pump 6 times. Since then my milk supply fell drastically where I only pump 2 oz each session even if I pump 30 minutes when before I’d be pumping 3.5-5 oz in 15, and it’s been 4 days already. I know it’s silly but I feel sad thinking I won’t be able to feed my baby sufficiently with breastmilk anymore. I’ll supplement but I felt happy being able to provide full breastmilk before and feel a sense of loss now. Just venting

Don’t know what I am going to do when she starts dating…

Hey mommas - My baby is 14 weeks old and I haven't gotten my period back yet. I'm worried I'm pregnant again. When did you get your period back? For context, I'm breastfeeding but not exclusively (I am pumping and nursing as much as I can though). I've been on the pill since 6 weeks and my husband used condoms for the first few weeks once we started again. Surprisingly, I can't find anything online that's helpful. Any sense of a timeframe would be tremendously anxiety-reducing!

16 weeks and so worried all of the stress I’m under is going to hurt the baby. Between work, my own scary (non-pregnancy) health stuff, the pandemic, my mom (who is a widow and lives alone, basically isolated by choice due to covid) is having health issues, and pressures to keep billable hours up, I’ve been having complete breakdowns. Today I spent almost the entire day crying and now have to make up the billable time this weekend. I really worry abt what effect this will have on the babe.
