Looking for a reasonable hourly wage for a night shift nursing supervisor at a rural hospital

Hi, new to fishbowl! I’m a mom if a 9yr old and 7yr old and this is the end of my 13th year teaching middle school.

I have a number of deadlines for bigger projects and then small asks that come along the way each day. By noon my day is thrown out of sync and I only got half of my to do list done by the end of the day. How do you juggle responding to emails vs actually getting work done? And does it work?
I’ve heard of folks blocking time on their calendar to focus but I feel bad not responding to emails within 15-20 minutes

Anyone have experience working with both Guidehouse and EY (public sector division)? Weighing out two offers, similar pay, senior consultant level.

Senior Manger in ACN or AVP in Genpact ? What title to go for ? Similar pay.

If you go to a wedding and the reception is three hours after the ceremony and in a different location, is it weird to wear a different dress to each? The reception is at the hotel we’re staying at so it would be super easy to change in between. The ceremony is also middle of day July in California so I could see wearing a short dress for that but then long dress for indoor reception later that night. Thoughts? While I was on mat leave last year, we hired a contractor to be me and he’s still with us even though I’m back. I recently started approving his hours and just found out he’s getting paid $65/hr grossly, while I make $35/hr. Is this normal for contractor to make more than FTE?? I just recently promoted to HR assistant manager. I have my PHR and working towards my SPHR. I am the lowest paid employee in the depth. We have a senior specialist and a general specialist both make more than I do. They have been employed longer with the company. What is your advice on this issue?

A company just reduced their offer after initial verbal offer was 'rejected' by comp team. Reasons were that it was higher than others at that level currently in the position. And that "This is the best they can do".

Thoughts on how to best counter this? This is a lowball.

Best place to find accurate market valuations? I’ve read over and over that self reporting sites like Glassdoor and Payscale aren’t accurate and not considered legitimate by large corporations when negotiating salary.

Curious what Salaries are for Account Managers with 6 YOE and two different territories for the last four of those 6 years. No commission/bonuses ever given and no promotions since I took the position 6 years ago despite speaking up several times. COL raises at 1.5% and I now make 70k but at the top of my pay range. I’m starting to look for other jobs now because I’m fed up with having two territories without a raise for the extra work. I feel I should have been promoted to Senior AM long ago.
