Looking for a recommendation for a new doctor/PA/whatever for ADD medicine. I have been on medicine for 15 years and think it’s crazy to come in 4 times a year and pay $300 for a 3 minute appointment.

It’s Friday. I am still sick with flu and sore throat. Given that alcohol can kill viruses, I should start chugging down some alcohol soon to kill those damn viruses.

Took my 2 year old daughter to the dentist and she found 4 cavities. We’ve been teaching her to brush her teeth before bed & after meals(unsuccessfully) so far.
She’s needs sdf treatment according to the dentist, any suggestions on how to move after the treatment as it leaves black coverage on the teeth. (She’s too young for crowns and what not)

Tips or suggestions for how to keep a positive mindset with each passing month of no pregnancy (or loss)? What helped you stay positive vs. getting into a mindset of sadness/anxiety/stress? Both in terms of relaxing but also in feeling like you were “in control” of as much as you can control

What are the genuine pros & cons of sharing mental health issues at work? I want the honest things being said behind closed doors, not the official party line.

I work in a public school setting and am allergic to citrus. My district has stated that it is too much trouble to accommodate me. I carry an Epipen and have an anaphylaxis reaction to being exposed to citrus. My district is not accepting my doctor note. They think I am exaggerating and refuse to limit citrus fruits on my campus. An HR meeting concluded that I was required to work through it/use the emergency response team if I have “an issue”. Pls share if you have had a different experience

Does it mean anything specifically when a company/firm reposts their position? I went on a phone screen and it went really well (so I thought) and got the interview with a AmLaw200 firm. I’m a new associate to a T&E group, partner goes away on vacation and leaves me with a 706 to review and sign. The family is very wealthy. Decedent married for 60 years. Partner says it’s “just a DSUE election, decedent was ill for years, no assets.” Provides no records. Not even an admission the decedent owned a toothbrush. However, wondering if any other OR RN’s have had issues with CSFAs feeling and acting like they are in charge of the room or attempt to carry out tasks that you as an RN are supposed to do?
