Recruiters typically work for the employer nor employee. They can’t create a fitting role from scratch; they are hired to fill specific openings. Instead I would look for open jobs that fit your skill set online and tag the company here so a current employee can refer you.
I was wondering if anyone who used a great recruiter in the past could connect me to give them some background on my career history to place me in an open role somewhere. I guess things don’t work that way anymore! Been at my company for over 10 years and looking for a change. I’m a new user so I guess in need to get some likes to unlock dms. Will create another post.
It’s never really worked that way. A recruiter’s job is to fill the company’s open role, not find a role for you. They only get paid on a specific assignment from a company that hired them.

Check your dm
Yeah I think you’ll benefit more from a referral from an employee. I don’t think recruiters will source here.
