Hi Pwc India fishes, Can you please tell what is the salary range for manager role ? Thanks in advance.
Anyone have any idea what the in house culture at Zillow is like? SO is convinced they work 9-5 no weekends and >$200k plus benefits and options. I just can’t fathom this being true anywhere for a 6-8 year attorney position. Thoughts?
AMERICAN EXPRESS India is hiring for Product Manager role. Title: Product Manager (Req ID: 21011754) Experience: 4+ years JD screenshot is attached. Kindly DM me if interested
Received an offer from Deloitte in NYC as a Advisory Tech Assurance Senior Consultant. They are offering 100k base plus 10k signing bonus. Is this on par with what most are offered for this location and position?
How does one go from Sr. Art Director to Studio Manager? And who's hiring mid to senior level creatives right now? Thanks!
I am in the UK and actively looking for a new senior/Manager role in consulting. I have 7.5 experience is in SAP over 50 consulting as Technical project delivery lead , 1 year in cisco APM(Appdynamics). I do not mind transitioning out of SAP to emerging technologies in big data, AI, cloud, etc. I am happy to share resume/cv for recommendation to deloitte, ACN, KPMG, microsoft or any of the top 7 consulting firms.
What are some things you wish you knew before you joined a Data Analyst role? Eg. Topics related to ML/AI models, business teams, etc.
I'm a Senior Account Executive, but my tasks lately make me feel like I've taken on a smaller role. At any of your agencies what are your SAEs responsible for? I want to make sure I'm progressing in my career.
We have opening for SAP lead at Bangalore office. Let me know if anyone is interested. Thanks
Any gov consulting firms actively hiring in dc? I have a buddy who just graduated with his MBA but didn't go through consulting recruitment. Veteran + worked on the hill. Fishbowlburnerdallas@gmail.com
Should I be concerned for my career with lack of billable projects? Background: Analyst hired out of undergrad in July 2020. I have worked on 3 proposals in the last 2 weeks, and 5 in the last 2 months. In the past year since I was hired, I have 8 months of billable work which is actually slightly higher than the other Analysts I joined with. Should I keep collecting paychecks and hoping for projects, or is this a serious issue that should prompt an exit strategy?
World Wide is hiring for analysts/consultants, review: pay and WLB is great (never had to work weekends in 3 years), some projects are more exciting than others, but great people. Let me know if interested.
Has anyone ever considered doing Equity Research? If my interests are healthcare and life sciences, would ER with a focus on this industry lead to better exit opportunities than consulting in this space?
Made M recently. Total 10 YOE industry (7) and consulting (3) combined. Based out of MCOL city. Found a Directory level exit opportunity that pays 200k base (20% increase over current) but requires me to relocate to a HCOL city. I'm not sure whether to bite. Company isn't all that sexy and I like where I live but the JD looks like it was written for me. If it was a job that I wouldn't need to relocate for, I might just take it. Does it make good career sense to take it? Got a family too.
If you are receiving an offer from Jackson Lewis, for a lateral position, do they typically call first to extend an offer or will the first communication of the offer be via email?
I'm a database developer with 8+ years of experience. Can I switch my role to Cloud Administrator and DevOps? What is like to be a Cloud Administrator?
Been working in PA for 2 years. No prior internships or business related work. Is it okay that my resume is just my associate role with like 15 bullet points? Not sure how to fill in the blank space, and it feels super lame to bring in non-relevant college jobs. Can I include ways I'm involved at the firm like mentorship and diversity initiatives?
I really want to get a second cat! I’ve had my baby boy for 8 months and he’s always been a solo cat. He’s 1.5 years old. My sister watched him when I went on vacation and he and her 3 year old male cat did not get along even with proper introduction. My cat did love her female cat. There’s a cat available to adopt in my area who is a mom cat that gave birth 3 months ago. I am wondering if she’d be a good fit with my male cat. I feel like he needs another feline friend and companion.

Does anyone here work at JWTInside or have any thoughts on it? In the final round of interviews and want opinions, homies
My professional life at the moment is far from ideal. I’ve been on quarantine (long story, but a good one) for the last seven years. Royalties from my books don’t pay the bills. My entrepreneurial pursuits remain hampered. For the interim, I’ve been looking for a remote opportunity where I can leverage my skills in marketing, sales, social media, and elsewhere for a decent sum. I have a social media presence which, in recent years, reached millions. There has to be something exciting I can do.
What is the longest you have seen someone with less than 50% utilization stay in a firm?
I really, really dislike having to answer to a “senior” who is only one year ahead of me

How long do you give your juniors to settle into their new roles before considering letting them go?
Nail lady absolutely destroyed my nails removing my gels abt 6 weeks ago :( I try not to get gels often bc of the damage and price but I do like to have my nails done and do them myself often (bc they chip so much). Is it super weird to start getting a regular mani done twice a week to avoid chips? Or does anyone have a better idea?
Anyone from the Deloitte KC office? I’m curious if there is an ITS practice there and if so do you know anything about the size, culture, etc.?
I Have an interview with kpmg for AAS under M&A, does anyone have any tips on how I should prepare for my interview?

For those who survived layoffs and crises before, what things and actions made a difference? How'd you come out stronger? Did you pivot into something new entirely?
