Hello! I’m a consultant at Kaiser Permanente where I’ve been for more than 4.5 years. I have experience with process improvement, implementing sustainable changes using lean six sigma methodologies and executing large scale hospital-projects. Now I’m looking to move into the health tech space. Any advice on where to look (Oscar, Flatiron, Omada, etc.)? Would love a referral. Thank you!

A wonderful friend recommended me to a recruiter, when the recruiter was looking to place a creative.
This role is at a small agency, I’m going to be paired with a Sr. Copywriter. They’re looking for a conceptual thinker and brilliant designer, no pressure.
I have some internships and some freelance under my belt since graduating portfolio school, and a current laptop that’s running on fumes ha.
I’m intimidated, cautious, yet super grateful to finally hear from someone.
Any words of wisdom?

Looking for recruiting firms to help me find my next project / program management role.

Struggling to determine which firms can help with PM roles AND I'm struggling to get the ones I do find to respond to me. It may have something to do where I'm at in my career - 15+ years of PM experience & director-level roles at my last 2 companies - so more exec level but not quite C-Suite. Have tons of one-off recruiters hitting me up on LinkedIn about contract PM roles but that's not what I want.

Hi all. My 6mo rvw is approaching in <2mo. I am aware I will receive a performance-based raise, but not sure how much. My student loan payments kick back in shortly after and I could use some advice on how to ensure that raise accommodates as much of my new debt as possible. I have over 6 years of various office and FOH experience, but no degree. I often receive praise from coworkers and intend on revising my SOP to record every one of my tasks in my current position to cover my basis. Thoughts?

There have been a lot of posts in the law and big law blog about legal recruiter comp. It seems to range a lot (saw second-hand info from $60k to over a million). Also saw someone say the “average” recruiter makes more than a 5th year biglaw associate (which I think would mean $400k+). Can anyone provide ballpark numbers? Considering eventually moving to recruiting, but couldn’t leave to do it for $60k.

Hi there! I’ve been in recruiting for agencies for the past 7 years. It has been volatile with furloughs and layoffs the past few years. I would love to transition into HR. When making career changes, and leaving one job for another, do you ever struggle with guilt? I always feel super guilty, especially about leaving the managers and team that I worked most closely with. Any advice on this? I know logically it's a good decision career wise, but I always feel bad about who I'm leaving behind.

Really tired of going to 3 hour second interviews and either get a response about we have chosen to move on with someone else but we encourage you to apply to other jobs. Meanwhile I have interviewed with 5 different positions at American Express had the last interview last Friday. What is going wrong. I’m currently a systems engineer (4-5 YOE in SE, 2 YOE in customer service before that) with BS in STEM, MS in Technical Mgmt. I’ve been dealing with burnout so I’m currently on the hunt for a new job but I’m thinking about making a pivot into something else - maybe a data science or data analytics role. A lot of my experience for the languages/tools that seem to be required for those roles comes from my undergrad courses and not my SE experience. Can I still put that on my resume?

I have read all the books but want some hands on experience on the property management side. How could I best leverage my skills for a role in this, and what should my expectations be for negotiation in compensation?
