Hi 🐠, I have applied to roles at EY and PWC and have to complete the prerecorded interview. Just wondering if anyone can share insights into what kinds of questions will be asked? If they will be just personal get to know you questions and assess how you think/operate, or if they will be job specific situational questions? I don’t have much concern either way but obviously role specific questions I would want to prep and have notes for more than get to know you questions. Thanks!
Little bit miserable in my current role and wondering if the grass is greener. I work exclusively on commercial due diligence projects, and want to know if my hours are typical: Monday - Thursday: 9am - ~midnight, Friday: 9-5, weekends totally off. Is this typical or does my group have unusually tough hours?

Anyone willing to offer a referral to Deloitte human capital consulting? Heard there are ongoing layoffs, but there is a really interesting new job posting which fits my background. Thanks!
I’m trying to move internally and I’ve been offered a role and I was told that I will have to maintain my current senior 2 (S2)status in next fiscal year. This means I’m not getting the progression that I would have otherwise received. I think my skills and knowledge will set me up for success at senior 3 (S3) level as well. I’ve been performing above peers in my current group. How should I navigate this situation?
Hi Greg - Two questions. 1.What life lessons would you give to those who want to stick to consulting in the long run? 2.Same Q but for those who want to exit + what is the optimal role to quit Thanks

What are realistic career paths for BDRs that do not want to be an account executive? I have been a BDR for 4 years now and looking to get out of sales but unsuccessful so far . I’ve interviewed for social media roles, BDR manager roles , always falling short on what they are looking for. Beginning to think I’ll just have to accept a career that I hate that brings me no passion and try for AE role. My ideal role would be in product marketing or social. Any advice?

Need some advice. I’m working in M&A big law but this work isn’t sustainable for me: it eats at my mental health. I have $60k in loans left that I can manage to pay off in two years with my current salary. I’d like to get out of the law entirely but I’m (1) not sure of my exit options and (2) want to be sure I can save up enough to afford an exit while paying off my debt. What resources can I use to help with these two things?

Hello all! I am an MBA in Accounting graduate who has had a few AR jobs in my past professional career and in my current role, I do GL postings and reconciliations and ensure everything for my assigned account is entered and posted to the GL. I really want to transition fully into the Accounting world but when I apply for Staff Accountant jobs (in my mind a step above entry-level), I don't get many calls. What am I doing wrong? What should I be applying for with my education and experience?

Any good recommended books on how to build a scalable product and team? I'm looking for recommendations for two areas: 1) in general laying the groundwork in a startup to have the tools and especially processes in place to scale, and 2) tactical focus on building a SaaS project. I've been promoted into a management role from Dev roots, so need to learn more PM processes to be an effective manager in day job, plus would like to start building my own SaaS solution.
