Long time agency person, considering joining an in house crisis team at a global company. Wouldn’t be my first time doing crisis work but would be my first time doing exclusively crisis. Can any full-time crisis people give me the good, bad and the ugly of what this would make my life look like? What questions do I need to ask during hiring process to catch red flags? I already work long hours and do constant issues management but this role would pay way more and is in an industry I like.
I am trying to transition into a male dominated industry and just had two really horrible interviews. While they were happening, it seemed like I was doing a great job...

What can you do if you’re getting interviewed by the same person who didn’t choose you in the first place?
Context: I applied for a position a while back and got interviewed, but didn’t go to the next round. I found the same position open again a month later at a different location and applied. Almost immediately, I was called for an interview, but with the same interviewer. What does this mean? Is this going to get awkward?

The professionals I have talked to as well as the website only allows target school (ivy league) undergrad students to apply through their respective portals.

I’m pretty certain I am battling ADHD but just realizing this in the past year (I’m 40). I am nervous about getting diagnosed because I’m terrified I’ll become dependent on the meds… and if I’m honest, that I’ll “like” them too much. Is that crazy? The feelings of being overwhelmed are becoming too much to bear and I can’t seem to get anything done. Any words of encouragement?

3/6 analysts on my team (myself included) did not get a bonus this year without any good explanation besides overall poor team performance. What would you do?
7 years of experience & still an Analyst. Performance is not the issue. I'm always told my work is "impressive" and "really good", but somehow, I'm still an Analyst. I have 7 years experience including top tier banking and Big4, but it doesn't seem to be enough. I have a strong academic record and speak 3 languages. Even when recruiters approach me on LinkedIn, they always approach me for Associate / Analyst level roles. All my former co-workers are now AVP and above. What do I need to do?

Anyone ever have someone they viewed as a mentor stab them in the back? Told my mentor, M,about a role I wanted to apply for and asked if she thought I was too junior - something the recruiter tried to tell me and she told me no. And then a few days later M told me her “friend” found the role posted externally (its internal only). So M reached out and got time with the hiring manager and recruiter.
Feeling incredibly discouraged - I told this woman my ideas for the role bc I trusted her

Hoping you have some advice-I am fuming right now and wondering how best to address the situation: I’m a finance partner for a struggling business. Trying to help specific area of operations solve a problem and be good business partner-I was very professional, friendly, to the point. I’m 35, so rude

I recently quit my stable job with a large finance company to go to a smaller company working with a friend as I felt I wasn’t being challenged and appreciated. However, the true environment of work was misrepresented with this new role and I find myself working long hours and I’m feeling burned out with less than 6 months in. My manager is fully aware of the pressure I’m feeling. Should I hang in there and hope it gets better or start looking?

I’m 37 and on medication that I would have to be off if I wanted to have a baby. I also have a weird undiagnosed physical abnormality. Nobody knows of it was a genetic mutation or due to a virus. However I am very happy still with my physical appearance. I have no husband, boyfriend, or partner and don’t want one. I make upwards of 140k and would like a baby at some point. Is 44/45 too late? Am I crazy for thinking I can get donor sperm, briefly get off my meds, and have a healthy baby?

Female corporate banker here, approaching year 3 as an analyst. Very top heavy team, but bank won’t promote juniors. Email etiquette question here: If you and your manager on interacting with an investor in an email thread and you send your manager an response draft to review and he does not respond and so the email never gets sent to the investor, whose fault is it? The way I see it, the ball was in his court. Is it really my job to remind people to respond to their emails? That’s another job onto itself.
