However, the true environment of work was misrepresented with this new role and I find myself working long hours and I’m feeling burned out with less than 6 months in. I’m 37 and on medication that I would have to be off if I wanted to have a baby. I also have a weird undiagnosed physical abnormality. Nobody knows of it was a genetic mutation or due to a virus. However I am very happy still with my physical appearance. I have no husband, boyfriend, or partner and don’t want one. I make upwards of 140k and would like a baby at some point. Is 44/45 too late? Am I crazy for thinking I can get donor sperm, briefly get off my meds, and have a healthy baby?

Female corporate banker here, approaching year 3 as an analyst. Very top heavy team, but bank won’t promote juniors. Pay raises and larger bonuses keep coming, although I do think it is time to leave the firm. Loving the aspect of relationship management in Corporate Banking, but also thinking about heading into Investment Management. Any advice (either long term in Corp. Banking or on making the switch)?

Email etiquette question here: If you and your manager on interacting with an investor in an email thread and you send your manager an response draft to review and he does not respond and so the email never gets sent to the investor, whose fault is it? The way I see it, the ball was in his court. Is it really my job to remind people to respond to their emails? That’s another job onto itself.
