Are there any advantages of interviewing over Skype/zoom for MBB vs in-person? Just for example - Case interviews typically use frameworks, what if you have the print outs in front of you...lol?

Generally curious how many companies offer phone reimbursement? My last gig did not but the current one does. Legally it seems, all employers are required to do so if we use our phone in literally any capacity (video call, slack, teams, emails etc). How prevalent is the issue of not reimbursing phone dues?

How are you teaching middle or high school chorus in the fully virtual realm? I’m looking for new ideas and techniques. I hate that my choirs can only sing on Zoom with everyone muted...that’s the opposite of choral singing :-(

I love teaching art but am having to teach remotely to 1150 kids, k - 5. Have about 54 amazing elementary art teachers in my district that share SO much! I could retire (34 yrs), but just don’t want to because I love what I do! I am starting my first civil trial in the beginning of December. It will be by Zoom. I've never done a zoom trial and I've only co-chaired a couple jury trials when I was interning at the prosecutors office years ago. I am getting nervous and I'm wondering if there is a checklist or things to know before starting a jury trial. When should I make my artificial deadlines? I was recently offered a Zoom interview. The school had 10 interview slots for me to choose from. Three were one day this week and the rest are next week. I chose the first time slot available. Should I have waited until one of the last slots so I was fresher on their mind when choosing a candidate? I am just sitting here stressing out until I here something. I resigned from my current org on 28th Sep and it got accepted on 29th Sep and I got salary for September as on 30th Sep.
I am supposed to serve a notice period of 2 month out of which october has passed and I haven't received October salary yet. When I questioned they HR said that salary for the month of resignation will be paid (which was September as per them) and for remaining period it will be withheld an shall be paid with FnF.

Anyone else getting ghosted by HR after being basically at the finish line? I’ve interviewed with two different companies and every interview going great. Five interviews in with both and then weeks later seeing they hired someone else on LinkedIn. I’m not mad they hired someone else but annoyed that they never send out an email or call saying they are going in another direction. Seems poor practice and makes me never want to work with them in the future.
