Recently Store Managers have been offering me jobs from different locations but same company in my town. The company is T-Mobile. It’s going to be my first job. I have a couple questions for any former/current employees. Is it better to work for T-Mobile, metro by T-Mobile, or a third party T-Mobile? Any difference in benefits or wage? Thanks

Anyone here work at Wellington Management and is willing to chat with me about a Data Science / Quant role? Recruiter reached out and I’m considering whether I should interview for it. Currently work at a Global Macro Desk of a MM hedge fund (think Millennium, Balyasny, Pt72) and looking to understand more about firm culture, investment process, career prospects to the extent possible and comp. Thanks!

Sounds like there is a fundamental mismatch between what you feel you / the role are worth and what this company feels. I would think hard about whether you will feel truly valued if you sign on — that is, unless you are really excited about the role and are willing to settle on comp. If it were me, I’d also want to know whether future comp increases in this role will be difficult, based on the bid/ask here.
Sure, why not? Worst they can say is no.
I mean you can...but how much of a discrepancy is it? And are you 100% sure someone would offer your coveted number?
