Do both. Enjoy the freelance money and project while just passively cashing your full time gig check.

Freelance is the illusion of freedom and salary is the illusion of stability. Do what makes you happy.
(Your decision is much easier if you don’t have others to support)
I’d do both until you can’t, then probably quit the salary position.
Was coming here to say that - do both
I’d take the freelance job. If you’re making 1/3 your freelance rate at your job, it’s not a good opportunity anyway.
From personal experience, if they haven’t provide you multiple projects to work on. That means that your were just hire for a specific period of time. I recommend, that you start searching for better options and who knows, maybe better pay and environment! This is the best opportunity, but you just wait until your boss lets you go. Don’t go too soon ! Take this as a opportunity to focus on looking for netter options.
This is basically the dream double dipping scenario. Definitely do both.
