I wouldn’t. I’d get down here and look for other opportunities once you are local if you are still unhappy.
Tough decision. The human capital aspect of working with one firm does matter to some extent - depends on where you see yourself down the road. This probably would have been a better plan prior to negotiating the current move.
Hmu for pwc referral if interested. I’m in NC
I’m in one of the PwC NC offices in audit. I know we are desperately looking for experienced hires and would think that we would be very generous with experienced hire pay. Offering hefty referral bonuses too so dm me if you want one 😂

Just stick it out with Deloitte if you are only considering a lateral at another B4 firm

NC market isn’t great depending on where you are. The only good opportunities I’ve found are remote and it doesn’t matter where you are.

No I currently live in NC and businesses are trying to offer like 80k for a senior.
From personal experience, I had an office transfer in place to a higher COL city. Wasn’t expecting moving costs to be covered, but was expecting a COL adjustment and the new office wouldn’t negotiate it. So I looked elsewhere.
