I just got an email from a recruiter from Google!

He said that the position is in the Bay Area or New York. I haven’t replied the email. I don’t think we can move to those cities, but I don’t want to lose this opportunity. Does anyone know if Google does remote jobs within US?

I'm leaning towards the MS in analytics because it would enable me to be a highly paid "doer." I see lots of industry roles in the low to mid 6 figures for quality analytics people but that may not have the upward growth that we have on the Consulting/Corporate leadership path.
The MBA certainly helps you get ahead in consulting and helps you relate to the C-suite clients and maybe get there yourself sometime. I see it as the tougher but more financially rewarding path for those who want to fight to the top
I work in the analytics group and everyone I work with makes much better money than you think and genuinely enjoys the work. I am a huge advocate for the ms programs at Berkeley Uva and nstate
Lol will ping you Monday if I know who this is
I might add that this is strictly for getting ahead financially
If you have desire/talent to eventually make c suite or start your own shop then sure. But if not, no.
I'm choosing between an MBA and MS in analytics. But I'm leaning towards the MS for quality of life, not money.
I'd go MBA for the money
@D1 Can you expand on that?
Are these full time or part time MS courses, what's the avg tuition... I should be doing this research myself but just a little lazy right now 😊
@EY I'm probably going to NC state
@d do it. I LOVE working with the alumns from there. It's extremely cheap compared to MBA. 1 year less tuition 1 year less salary removed.
@D1 We've already had this conversation in person. Hope things are well with you
