Every time I do work on the house, saying I don’t have permits (I get them when I need them), I am setting fire to my hedges, I have 20 people on my roof (I have 3). The DOB and DEP roll around and I have to tell them to go away. There’s apparently no feedback mechanism for the City to weed out malicious complaints because the people are its eyes and ears etc. Today, I replaced my skylight and the DEP rolled up saying aomeone complained I had asbestos and wanted to sample the rubber on my skylight and asked me not to dispose of my skylight- which has no asbestos, it’s a skylight. What can I do?

You could say I can just keep shrugging off inspectors but because DOB complaints are public, this might reduce my resale value even if they’re all dismissed because hey, who wants a crazy neighbor? It’s infuriating

lmao WHAT

False, I am conspiring to steal his driveway, have you seen parking garage prices lately?

To clarify a detail that I left out for clarity (I know you’re kidding)- what he imagines is his driveway doesn’t actually exist because his family had been using the driveway of the in between house while it was derelict and abandoned. A developer came in, and they lost access to the driveway which had always been on the other side of the property line. Furthermore the Antagonistic family had made an addition to their house assuming the open area would always be there and now their house is noncompliant.

Is it something you can get a lawyer friend to write a sternly worded letter claiming harassment if he doesn't start behaving

Has anyone received/know of a HireVue request from Accenture (Federal) with the title "Introduce Yourself" under the Job Title portion?
