No one wants to give me a chance!!! I want to teach STEM, and my resume has all the STEM on it that I have done outside my classroom- overseas, summer school…and I am working on my masters in elementary education, science specialists. All they see is PREK. How can I ever get a chance to teach STeM if no one gives me a chance? Felling really discouraged.

I have a direct report who is smart, passionate about her job and can be really innovative. However she carries this enormous weight of responsibility, for needing to do everything, do it right, make sure it's perfect, not trusting colleagues to help. It creates dread and panic and overwhelming workload and a terrible attitude for her and I am speaking with her this week to start to shift her mindset. Any tips in navigating how to let go of this heavy idea of "responsibility"?

any down sides to TS/FDD over audit?

Okay pay for A&M is higher but from the deals i have come accross i am not impressed at all. I would say from firms i have seem accross only EY had some constitent degree of fdd quality and impressive analyses. Which FDD firm do you think produce the smartest and hard to contest reports? Please include the name and explanation for your choice.

Does anyone have experience with modeling courses like WSP or FMVA? Currently in FDD and exploring making the jump to IB in the next year or so. I be got a good academic record, a CPA, fairly relevant experience in M&A, but no on the job modeling experience so I would think that certification coupled with everything else would nudge me in the right direction. Thoughts?

I love the excel work and analysis that comes with FDD, but the report writing is my least favorite part of the job. Looking to exit and was leaning towards FP&A, but am worried of the heavy report writing needed for FP&A. Are these worries in line with FP&A or does it depend on the company / role. Would appreciate insight and thoughts on other exit possibilities that I should explore.

Why do people at big 4 work so much if they have offshore teams to help? I'm at a MM firm and we get crappy data all day plus we're building everything out ourselves but even then I'm still able to keep it under 50 hours most weeks.
