Looking for advice/leads to land a litigation job in small/mid law after being a public interest attorney for a few years.

What is the minimum amount of experience you think someone needs to switch from big law to inhouse if they do not care about a salary cut or starting at the bottom? Just wondering how long I have to stick it out before getting seriously considered for an inhouse position. SALT group.

What ways can I appeal to employers to prove my skill set for things like SQL proficiency , building ETL processes etc ?

I got my job via a series of lucky coincidences. I am a former art student who winded up working for the print production dept of a major media company in what was supposed to be a weeklong gig, and then ended up as a data analyst in the same org.

When I think of what I would be passionate for, I think of a creative field, like fashion, even if I was a similar, administrative role. I’m not sure there’s room to grow here.

I had a performance evaluation last week where I completely fell apart. When asked how I was doing, I responded that I was overwhelmed with work and with the personal animosity of my para who called me a bitch to my face. So my question is: how important do you think it is to develop your social media brand and presence as legal professional at the start of your career? Would it be beneficial to start marketing myself in some general way, and then get more specialized? After having a record year I get an 8% raise, which is inflation. So basically no raise. Not sure why I worked so hard and made so many sacrifices.

How do you know when you deserve a raise? I’ve been working as a real estate closing attorney for 4 months making 80k in Atlanta GA. With rising rent prices and what not I feel like I could really use a raise, besides that I do good work.
