Has anyone from @EY GDS renegotiated their current EY offer by countering it other companies offer letter?
I currently hold two offers one from EY GDS and another from ATOS (ATOS is offering more than EY)
I am looking forward to join EY GDS but have zero experience in renegotiating
Need guidance on how to proceed
What is the onsite salary given for h1b visa in LTI for specialist - package implementation role? And also for Toronto, Canada?
Drinking early because I was working early. A friend who knows my predilections for whiskey variety gifted this for my birthday. I didn’t know there were any whiskies from Wales either.
It’s a peated single malt that’s been matured in Bourbon then Islay quartercasks (perhaps the ones from Laphroaig?). Light smoke, medium-rich mouthfeel, super-light color, sharp heat before a bitter finish.
This could be a really fun distillery to watch out for as aging will be interesting.
Let me know if anyone is willing to join bosch

hey all, i’m 3 years into my career. some decent work produced, some awards (mostly student). after getting laid off last fall and many many applications and emails sent, I’ve decided to spend time and money on a creative PR stunt to get my dream agencies’ attention. I’ve decided I don’t want to settle any longer, and I’m ready to make the jump to the elite.
so people that have made it to their dream agencies: when did it happen for you, what made it happen, and was it everything you hoped for?

Anyone willing to share some best resources (books, podcasts, etc) for imposture syndrome? For awareness, I am a white women in HR. Always struggled with confidence but experienced some brutal/toxic management with my HR role with a bad business partner (now in a new role), and I am continuing to struggle with my confidence. Appreciate resources that are “self-help”. Also considering a therapist but hoping to also own the process myself for quicker “recovery”. TIA!
Need some advice. During May of 2021 an operations manager and an hourly Hr employee started a relationship while the ops manager was married. We had supervisors give us pictures of those two kissing at workFast forward they are now engaged and getting married. The HR worker does not work here anymore since July 2021. Is it too late to investigate the ops manager for misconduct ? The ops manager has worked here for 15 years and is super valuable, the operation literally can not run without him.

I'm frustrated. Everywhere I've worked I've gotten great reviews and even leadership awards. At my last company my boss was promoted to CAO. She hired a director but made her VP of HR at hire due to someone leaving. VP ran 6 HR directors out of the co (we all left without jobs lined up). After I left my team quit & the CAO was fired. Now they promoted this VP to a Sr VP. I gave so much, got nothing, yet she fell into SVP. I have a new Director level job. How do I break into the VP level?
Thoughts on PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP certs? I have approximately 9 years of HR exp and my bachelors and MBA. Been debating on whether or not I need to fulfill my urge to get a certification. Wanted to get some thoughts around whether you have a similar background and opted to or opted to not get their certification? Thanks!
For those in smaller high growth tech companies, where do you turn for resources on org development, engagement, trends, etc.? I’m moving from a large tech org to a a 150 person company. SHRM does not seem relevant at all. Podcasts, social media followings, etc?
Transitioning out of Recruiting - how can I figure out my next step? I think I could be interested in HR Generalist work, HRIS/People Ops, or a DEI role. Aside from talking to people in these roles, how could I get a taste of each to see what would be the most enjoyable?
As an experienced, SHRM certified HRBP , I would just like some feedback on your opinion of the differences in the roles between an HRBP an HR Manager besides the obvious that the manager should have direct reports. I am an HRBP and work in step with 3 HRM’s. They all 3 just got out of cycle raises of between 5-20% 😳 and I received nothing. I am quite aware of our HR code that salary is confidential but I was told about this. Would you be looking for other employment? Or stay?
I’m taking the SHRM-CP exam today and I’m pretty nervous. I’ve been studying for three months but somehow it still feels like it wasn’t enough. Any words of encouragement?

I am struggling with the fact that I have 13 years of HR experience in one capacity or another, along with a bachelors degree and my PHR designation yet companies say “I’m not qualified or they ghost me when I apply for HR openings. I am experienced in all aspects of HR. How are people with little to no experience coming right out of college obtaining higher level roles than I have currently? It makes my passion for the field just go away.

What is the best feedback(or feedback you’ve heard) to provide to a rejected candidate who is a close second but the other candidate just seems to be a bit better cultural fit?
Candidate we are proceeding has more energy, genuine, came across more authentic. Which is something hard to quantify.
We would’ve offered both if we had 2 roles
